Sales Manager- ProInstall

The Opportunity
A role has been newly created for someone to lead a small team of Estimators and manage the end-to-end sales process in our Commercial Glazing and Installation division. Working closely with the Project Manager on customers and relationships and securing a strong sales pipeline. Key responsibilities include:
- Contract reviews; ensuring terms of contracts and and risks are documented and communicated to all relevant internal stakeholders.
- Develop strong relationships with builders, developers and commercials customers to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities is present
- Manage the sales pipeline, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure the pipeline is achievable and resourced appropriately.
- Review tender and bid documentation for submission ensuring technical, pricing, design and regulatory requirements are met.
- Manage quote follow ups and collect feedback on all unsuccessful tenders to identify continuous improvements to process or performance.
- Attend site inspections to gather critical project insights.
- Manage a team of Estimators, providing guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration and ‘right the first time’ approach to the work.
- Ensuring pricing maintains targeted gross profit against the best value for the customer.
- Maintain regular cost analyses and reporting to management.
About You
To manage the sales pipeline and support our customers effectively we are looking for someone who is able to communicate proactively and honestly to build trust. You will also succeed in this role if you:
- Remain calm under pressure, able to diffuse any escalating situations.
- Have a methodical and organised approach to the work, able to manage and delegate the workload.
- Have a strong drive and persistence to succeed and seek solutions.
- Possess a high level of attention to detail.
- Are able to prioritise and adapt to industry changes and the needs of the customer
Technical proficiency in the contracts and estimation works is the other side of the coin.
- Previous experience estimating or reviewing contracts
- The ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Trade or qualifications relevant to the industry (desirable)

- Experience leading or coordinating a team towards targets and deliverables
