Project Coordinator

The role:

We are looking for a fulltime, Project Coordinator to work on site and at our offices located in Canning Vale. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the construction industry, who has worked across multiple commercial projects.

This role is responsible for resourcing, scheduling and administration of projects in line with project deliverables and costs, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The role will include on a daily basis:

  • Coordinating glazing and aluminium projects from commencement to completion through efficient planning, procedures and communication
  • Daily scheduling of works for the glazing team and subcontractors
  • Ensure materials are ready for each project
  • Communicate with the factory production team on required orders
  • Maintain stock and housekeeping of in-house aluminium department
  • Coordinate training of apprentices in conjunction with the manager
  • Provide on-site assistance and assist the ProInstall team as required
  • Maintain WHS requirements of projects

The person:

This position requires the ability to work both in office on administrative tasks and be hands-on, on-site to lead the glazing team. It is a fast paced role that requires a resilient nature, as you will often be faced with multiple customer demands and issues that require a calm response and an ability to see the solutions.

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience in Estimating or Project Management, including budgets and resources, or Construction/Building discipline/s are desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate a team
  • Calm under pressure, and able to see solutions in difficult situations
  • A high level of attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong computer literacy
