Labourer/Gantry Operator - July Start!

About the Role
We are looking for a fulltime Labourer/Gantry Operator to work on our day shift, starting in July. Working in our factory with our Logistics team, your goal is to safely and competently load, unload, store material for our Glass Processing teams and assist our warehousing team with stores duties as required.
Your main daily tasks will be loading our trucks, assisting our truck drivers and stores and unloading shipping containers using our gantry cranes.

Our day shift hours are Monday to Thursday 6am-2.30pm and Friday 6am - 12pm.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Safe manual handling and loading/unloading of glass product within despatch areas
- Maintain accurate documentation and quality checking processes
- Assisting with stores and customer pick ups
- Operation of gantry cranes, up to SWL 3.5T and using various lifting attachments as required
- Unloading of shipping containers
- Daily housekeeping of trucks and work area
- Assist other team members with loading duties as required
- Movement of materials within factory as required
- Monitoring and preparation of stock material and stock replenishment for the factory
You will receive thorough, internal training in truck loading, the operation of the overhead gantry cranes, glass handling, glass lifting equipment and general safety and ongoing training to develop within our environment.
