Afternoon Material Handlers and Truck Loaders

About the Role

The roles are both full-time and casual, on our afternoon shift. Our afternoon shift hours are Monday to Thursday 2.30pm-11.10pm and Friday 12pm-5pm. No previous experience is required as you will receive in-house training in glass handling, safety and ongoing training to develop within our environment.

We are looking for those eager to learn and grow in a glass fabrication environment.

As a Material Handler or Truck Loader your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Safe manual handling of glass product within processing and despatch areas
  • Maintain safe practices and accurate documentation
  • Check, measure, inspect and confirm correct glass type as per specifications
  • Lift glass safely onto machines or load onto trucks as required
  • Quality inspections of glass products
  • Daily housekeeping of work area

About You

You will be working in an environment where safety comes first. Glass is fragile and we ensure all our employees are well trained in all aspects of glass handling. You therefore must;

  • Have the ability to lift (Up to 25kg) and move glass safely
